Les jupettes en lange

Ça, c'était ma dernière obsession, ce tuto me narguait. Mais franchement je trouvais le tissu un brin cher pour ce que c'était et puis ça devait bien exister en Angleterre, non? Je passe sur le temps perdu à trouver le tissu lange de mes rêves... J'ai finalement trouvé mon bonheur ici mais....en blanc... trop bête... alors j'ai pu assouvir mon autre obsession cachée, jouer au petit chimiste! Un paquet de teinture Dylon "Flamingo pink" plus tard, tadah:

That was my latest obsession, this tutorial was nagging me. But really I thought the fabric was a little expensive for what it was and it had to exist in England, right? Let's not mention the time I lost looking for the fabric of my dreams... I finally found what I was looking for here but... in white... too bad.... That gave me the chance to fullfil another hidden obsession of mine, play chemist! A pack of "Flamingo pink" Dylon dye later, et voilà:

A l'origine, j'avais l'intention de n'en faire qu'une pour Margot mais quand Valentine l'a vue, forcément.... je m'aprêtais à lui répondre: "tu la mettras quand tu seras grande" mais avant que j'ai pu ouvrir la bouche, son papa avait répondu "oh mais je suis sûre que maman peut t'en faire une", humph...

I was only planning to do the one skirt for Margot but when Valentine saw it of course... I was about to say "you'll wear it when you are older" but before I could open my mouth, her dad had replied "oh but I am sure mom can make you one", humph....
